Oh Met, you dear old thing. (Giselle the most frightening ballet I’ve ever seen, mainly because, during a lift, the girl almost sailed straight out of the dude’s hands. Collective gasp was deafening, as you can likely imagine. I had to close my eyes, I thought impending doom was inevitable, it was such mayhem! In any case, i, hope the move’s going better than Giselle’s overzealous running leaps:)

Squandering time today and loving every second of it. Also, found a nest of baby birds outside my window, chirping for food. Will post a photo later - they’re such sweet little things. Good luck prospectusing, dear! Oh, and give the car a pep talk from me:)

Kate’s bachelorette in Cape May - perfect weather through wine tasting and strawberry picking and general beach bliss. Who ever said New Jersey isn’t as close to heaven as one can get? :)

Practicing ballet. (Just read that the Mariinsky is coming to Berkeley this fall! Swoon.)

En route to NYC - will say hello to Cafe Angelique for you, for old time’s sake:)

Miss Mangin is A.B.D.! Yay, fancy lady! Our Cesar’s afternoon sesh in the summer sunlight, next to a man in a white linen suit, complete with his snazzy sunglasses and mint mojito. Can life feel more like ‘Casablanca’?

I would like to get into this car and go somewhere where there are no papers to grade.

A perfectly gorgeous barbecue day - very happy you stopped by! And, grilling is such fun, no wonder dudes like it:)

PIctures from another gorgeous day - hiking in Converse with Jilly. Still can’t believe we live in these stunning realms.

W

p.s. Sorry I’m being a little nudge and not heading out for drinks with you et. al.; epic a.m. Costco trip and back-and-forth meat-carrying has me absolutely exhausted.

Best café/cupcakery/crêperie/cocktailery ever? It just might be. From the Duck & Bunny in Providence (on Yi-Fen’s recommendation) with an incandescent college friend this March.

Gorgeous photos, i. As par for the course.

Documenting Saturday’s lunch of EGA dictatresses (is this a word? well, it is now) at Zuni Cafe, which is breathtaking. Eating oysters (oh, and an entire roast chicken), planning the department picnic on Sunday, frivolously spending EGA funds, and being just plain diabolical = the perfect way to spend an afternoon in the city:)

Until bubble face, i.
